Investiture Ceremony 2025-26

Delhi Public School Katra proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 on 11th August 2025 with great dignity & enthusiasm in the school premises. The ceremony marked the formal conferring of responsibilities upon the newly elected members of the Student Council.
The event was graced by Mr. Paramvir Singh SSP,Katra as the Chief Guest, Prof. Sunil Kumar Wanchoo, Dean of Sciences, SMVDU as the Guest of Honour, Mr. Vipan Chandran, SP Katra and Mr. Akhilesh Khajuria Incharge Police Post Kakryal as special guest. Their presence added great value to the occasion, inspiring the young leaders with their words of wisdom.
The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. DPS Katra welcomed the esteemed gathering and congratulated the young leaders & encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity and dedication.
The highlight of the programme was the oath-taking ceremony, where the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains & other council members pledged to perform their duties sincerely and uphold the honour of the school. The badges and sashes were presented by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and school authorities, symbolising trust and responsibility. In their addresses, the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour commended the school for fostering leadership qualities among students and urged the council members to lead by example.
The Management of DPS Katra Sh. M.K. Ajatshatru Ji, Chairman/Trustee MHSSEF (J&K), Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji, Founder/Trustee MHSSEF (J&K) & Sh. S.S. Sodhi Ji Pro Vice Chairperson DPS Katra expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Guests of the event for gracing the occasion and congratulated all the newly elected Student Council members, encouraged them to lead with integrity, work as a team and strive for excellence in every endeavour. Their blessings and guidance will continue to motivate the young leaders to uphold the school’s motto of Service Before Self. Ms. Simmi Sharma, Ms. Manikarnika Sharma, Ms. Madhu Sharma & Ms. Meenakshi Koul on behalf of DPS Katra extended their heartfelt thanks to all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion and inspiring the young leaders of DPSK.
