"Sparks of Divinity: Celebrating Diwali with a Purpose"
To mark the joyous occasion of Diwali, a Special Assembly was conducted in the school premises with great enthusiasm and devotion. The programme beautifully captured the spirit of the festival — symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the spread of wisdom. Sacred shlokas were chanted during the ceremony, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations.
This was followed by a narration from the Ramayana, depicting the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after fourteen years of exile. The students highlighted the valiant contributions of unsung heroes of the Ramayana like Jatayu, Shabari, and others, emphasizing their courage, devotion, and sacrifice.
A heartfelt speech on the significance of Diwali reminded everyone about celebrating the festival with harmony, purity, and gratitude. Students also presented poems and slogans on Eco-Friendly Diwali, spreading awareness about celebrating the festival responsibly without causing harm to the environment.
The celebration further included a mesmerizing dance performance and melodious song on the theme of Diwali, which added color and joy to the occasion. The rhythmic beats and graceful moves captivated the audience and filled the surroundings with festive fervour.
The assembly concluded with a message to light not just lamps, but also hearts with kindness, wisdom, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
